Audited Financial Statements - Fiscal Year Ending on June 30, 2012
The audited financial report for the Yucaipa Valley Water District was prepared by District staff in conjunction with Vavrinek, Trine, Day & Company following guidelines set forth by the Governmental Accepted Accounting Standards Board.
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) requires that management provide a narrative introduction, overview and analysis to accompany the financial statements. The financial report is organized into the following sections: (1) Transmittal Letter and District Overview; (2) Management Discussion; and (3) Audited Financial Statements. The first section provides the reader with a general overview of the District. The Management Discussion section offers a summary of significant financial results. The Audited Financial Statements section includes the Independent Auditors’ Report.

Annual Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2014 (July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014)
The Yucaipa Valley Water District prepares a highly detailed, but easy to read, operating budget that shows prior year financial trends for revenues and expenses. The purpose of providing this information is to provide a highly transparent budget document to illustrate the expenses incurred by the District for our water, sewer and recycled water enterprises.
On June 5, 2013, the Board of Directors will be considering the adoption of the operating budget for the fiscal year starting on July 1, 2013 and ending on June 30, 2014 (Fiscal Year 2014).
