The Yucaipa Valley Water District is currently seeking full-time, Integrated Plant Operators to work at the Yucaipa Valley Regional Water Filtration Facility, the Oak Glen Surface Water Filtration Facility, and the Wochholz Regional Water Recycling Facility. 

The Yucaipa Valley Water District operates one of the few drinking water and recycled water facilities in the State of California that operate microfiltration treatment systems coupled with nanofiltration and/or reverse osmosis membrane treatment systems.  With a unique opportunity to gain exceptional experience, the District is seeking highly motivated individuals interested in obtaining higher level wastewater operator and drinking water treatment operator certifications from the State Water Resources Control Board

Integrated Plant Operators will perform a variety of duties to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all wastewater, drinking water, and recycled water facilities.

Under direct and indirect supervision, an Integrated Plant Operator inspects, monitors, and operates water, wastewater, and water recycling treatment, filtration, distribution and production system processes and equipment necessary to maintain a safe and adequate supply of integrated resources, and does related work as required.  Also is responsible to insures that the District maintains full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory, environmental and safety requirements.
